Full Synopsis

Just weeks prior to enlisting into national service, Johnny ponders over the necessity of military conscription. His parents’ concern over his less than positive attitude and upon witnessing his good friend sink into depression during his enlisted time in the army, Johnny further questions the principles behind this rite of passage for Singaporean young men.
