Catching The Moon

2006

Synopsis

Paul, a widower, encounters problems bringing up his young school going son, Jimmy, alone. Jimmy is lonely and misses his mum. He believes that his mum became the moon after she died. He decides to perform the ultimate feat of love for the girl he loves: he promises to catch the moon for the girl, the way his father told him he did for his late mother. Jimmy gets into trouble in school and expresses himself to Paul. A charming depiction of young love that explores its innocence and its complexity.
