Chomel the Pontianak has had her powers crippled by a nail driven through her neck. Despite being incapicitated, suspicion falls on Chomel among the spate of deaths in a village. Missing her mother, Maria leaves home to find Chomel, resulting in a comedic search for Maria herself, headed by her husband and other village men. Unknown to all, there are dangers more fearsome than the Pontianak out there.
