Ground transportation
Please make sure you have the required travel visa. Upon arriving at the Cengkareng Soekarno-Hatta Airport (CGK), go to the first floor to take DAMRI bus towards the direction of GAMBIR. It’ll cost you 10,000IDR/1 USD. From GAMBIR you can take a taxi to the hotels above and it should not cost you more than 20,000IDR/2 USD maximum if you go to MENTENG area. To be safe, you can take Blue Bird Taxi from the station, they have their small terminal there.

Taxi ride from Airport to Menteng should not be more than Rp 75.000 or about $7.5. Please take Blue Bird Group Taxi or Express Taxi. The fare can be more if you take limo cab (called Silver or Golden Bird). If you get here by Sunday, you shouldn't have to worry about traffic jam, and the ride will be about 30 minutes.

There is an airport departure tax that you should keep in mind when leaving Jakarta: Rp 100,000.
