2. Alila Hotel
2 stars, walking distance to Goethe. Nice hotel but proclaim themselves as a ‘Sharia hotel’ which means they do not sell alcohol nor allow two unmarried opposite sex people sharing a room.
Corporate rate: approx. USD $20.

(as it is the most expensive one, it will probably be okay. It's a little further to the west, but still within walking distance of GI; 10 minutes’ walk)

Treva and Formula 1 hotels have more or less similar distance to GI, and both are located in a hip areas with OK restaurants, bar and cafes. The thing is that F1 hotel does not have twin share rooms, and if we want to add a bed to the already available queen size bed, it costs an extra Rp. 48.000 (US$ 5.25).
