MOCK DVDs+POSTERs The concept behind the Mock DVDs+Posters is one of deprivation - we offer five of Singapore's earliest film titles but with a twist - they have all been lost and are thus unavailable. But we urge you not to simply put them down. Take a look at the dates: Singapore's oldest film is Xin Ke (The Immigrant) made all the way back in 1926! And two important and independent films (a rarity for that day), Hua Jiao Xue Liu (Overseas Chinese Blood Story) and Seruan Merdeka (Call of Freedom) were made just a year after WWII! In the absence of the films themselves, our memories of them and any other information we can find related to the films are of dire importance. That's why we are holding the Call for Memories and have created the Singapore Lost Film Wiki so these key works in Singapore's long and rich film oeuvre do not completely disappear. Come find out as much as you can about them at the wiki and help us gather more so Xin Ke (The Immigrant), Leila Majnun, Hua Jiao Xue Liu (Overseas Chinese Blood Story), Seruan Merdeka (Call of Freedom) and Hei Jin (Black Gold) don't fade away forever. Have you seen them yet? Pop over to these supporting locations to find them:
