CALL FOR MEMORIES

This initiative is an open appeal to youth to come forward with their "memory keepers" and share their fondest local film experiences by uploading their own video entries online on YouTube. This Chinese New Year, make the most of your reunion and holiday by talking to our older generation about Singapore film! There will be a showcase of the best entries at the end of our campaign and the top ten stand to win a free Singapore Shorts Vol. 2 DVD. Here are the steps below:

1. Pick up your camera - whether it's a video camera, digital camera or even your handphone!
2. Place it on a flat surface facing you.
3. Press the record button.
4. Talk about your favourite local film experience facing the camera!
5. Upload the video clip onto your Youtube account.
6. Copy the link of your video on Youtube and paste it in an email to us

We’ll receive your email and go to the link to watch your video! AFA will then favourite your video clip on our YouTube group and we will respond via email to you.

Alternative!

Find out what was the oldest local film your parents, grandparents, or great grandparents watched when they were youth and what the cinema-going experience then was like. Remember, we're looking for all things related to film in Singapore and videos of yourself with your "memory keeper(s)" win bonus points. So reach out across that generation gap through local film and get them talking about it now! See below for our easy example video guide:
